We separate all types of hotel waste: Paper, plastic, residual waste, wet waste and glass. Regulators affixed to washing basin taps reduce the flow and help save water. The regulators mix air into the flowing water to compensate for the lower water volume. The flow feels as strong as it otherwise would. The hotel was fitted with LED lighting more or less throughout in 2013 and 2014. In areas where this was not possible, energy saving light bulbs are used. For all our food needs, we began using regional products wherever possible in 2014. This is especially the case with meat products and vegetables, which we obtain from local suppliers and farms.
