Culinary Cologne: Initial preparations for the meal — can I get the right ingredients?

You’ve chosen the right recipe and now you’re writing your shopping list. But where can you buy the ingredients? Find the right specialized shops and delicatessens, or buy your ingredients at a market that offers regional and seasonal products. Find out whether the ingredients you need are available — and if so, where. You may have to alter some details if a key ingredient is not available at a certain time of year or if the butcher advises you to choose something else.

Event planning: Does everything fit together? Checking whether you’ve made the right decision

The concept works! And you’re also on budget. You’ve taken a big step forward. Trust is good, but control is better. That’s why you have to check the feasibility of the overall concept one more time. Take another close look at your detailed planning, discuss the concept once again with your team, your expert partners and/or your customers. You’ll often find that there’s still some room for improvement. Make sure everything will run smoothly according to plan — and have a Plan B ready for any problems that might occur. Inspect the location you’ve booked and resolve any open questions.
