Culinary Cologne: Who am I cooking for, and why?

Before you begin catering to your guests, you need to adapt your menu and the format of your event to your guests. The first question is always: what is the occasion of the event? Once the goal of the event is clear, you can begin planning the menu for the event accordingly.

Event planning: The goals of an event point the way to success

Before you start planning, define the goals of the event. Also become familiar with your target group. To make sure your event will be a success, always keep the needs of your target group in mind as you do your planning. Always keep your eye on these two Ws from our alphabet soup (“who” and “why”) as you plan a successful event so that you can reach the goals you’ve set for it.
