For the second time this year, the theme weeks of the Cologne Science Forum (Kölner Wissenschaftsrunde - KWR) are taking place from May 25th until June 25th in 2021. Under the motto "The new normal - seizing opportunities & shaping the future", the KWR takes a stand on recent topics.
The Cologne Science Forum consists of Cologne's research and higher education institutions, the City of Cologne and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Already since the year 2013, the Cologne Theme Years took place every two years. These were then replaced by the Cologne Theme Weeks in 2019.
The aim of the KWR is to make the latest scientific and research findings accessible for all citizens of Cologne, as well as make them tangible. In June 2021, the theme week will take place under the title "The new normal" offers a diverse program [DE].
According to its title, the Cologne Science Forum occasionally picks up on how we can learn from the corona pandemic. This will take place as an online event [DE] of Cologne's city library.
