The pop-up event restaurant "Garten Eden Industrial" and the adjoining rooms in the Cologne chocolate factory offer space for all event formats

Following the extensive refurbishment of the traditional Stollwerck chocolate factory, our location offers flexible event spaces for private celebrations of all kinds such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and business events such as corporate events, meetings, conferences, workshops, incentives, seminars, coaching sessions and exhibitions.

The pop-up event restaurant "Garten Eden Industrial" offers a wide range of catering options for all event formats and for any number of participants - from classic event catering to individual menus or sophisticated barbecues in the outdoor area. Special requests, even in the high-end sector, can be fulfilled.

The 360 square metre pop-up catering area at Garten Eden Industrial, including the open 100 square metre kitchen, can not only be booked as an exclusive lunch or dinner location, but is also suitable for incentives as part of cooking and food events. The room also offers additional space for breakouts and workshops. There is space for up to 155 people. In summer, there is a 1,000 square metre outdoor area with a beer garden, greenery and a pond, which is ideal for team-building sessions as well as summer parties.

The adjacent 4 fully equipped rooms of the chocolate factory, each with 261, 130, 81 and 52 square metres, are suitable for all kinds of communication and collaboration. There is also a photo studio with 60 square metres. All spaces can be combined with neighbouring rooms or used individually with separate entrances. The design of the chocolate factory allows for individual branding.

The largest space is called "Karamell". It is generally bright and friendly, but can also be completely darkened. "Karamell" offers 261 square metres of design freedom and is suitable for events with up to 220 people. Independent set-ups that can be integrated into the room provide flexibility for event organisers.

Equipped with the latest conference and event technology, the chocolate factory guarantees a top-quality performance. A modular stage is also available. Additional equipment with event furniture, Logitech Ultra-HD ConferenceCam system with automatic camera control, metaplan walls or mobile whiteboards can be booked as an option.

Gastronomy and Hospitality

An old, dusty canteen at the Stollwerck chocolate headquarters was converted and renovated over the course of 1.5 years to become the Pop-Up Event Restaurant "Garten Eden Industrial". An urban location with event space and a beer garden for up to 150 people. Our cloakrooms used to be changing room lockers, the wine bar was a workbench and a vintage shelf is used to present gifts at weddings or anniversaries. The old industrial lamps have been converted to dimmable LEDs. Whether steel cabinets, typewriters, fans or the many chocolate tins, everything has found its place and its function in our home. Most recently, we built a fireplace in the beer garden from the 100 kg concrete pillars that used to support the washbasins in the changing rooms.

The fact that we have been consistently pursuing our principles in the culinary field for years, such as sustainability, high quality standards and regionality, is an absolute prerequisite for us. We have our own hunter for the game season, our butcher is the organic butcher Jansen from Porz and our ice cream also comes from Casa Vecchio in the neighbourhood. Since Corona, we have also been supporting the Help Hope Love foundation and source our vegetables and wine from the smallest local farmers and winegrowers, some of whom would not have survived the next season without this support. Our schnapps comes from an old distillery in Rösrath, the trout from the Bergisch region.

We have been cooking vegan as a matter of course for many years! At Garten Eden Industrial, we make the best of the basics.
We ferment the seasonal fruit and vegetables and therefore have our ingredients for the unmistakable Garten Eden twist even in the colder months.

Our out-of-home catering service has been highly appreciated at events and trade fair appearances in Cologne and the surrounding area for over 20 years.
